About BDAS

As the largest developing country in the wave of globalization, China has caught the world's attention with its unique geography, history, culture as well as rapid social development. In the recent years, globalization has been beneficial to China, a country whose image is now admired internationally. The frequent cultural exchanges between artists on a national and international level has brought many more opportunities for Chinese artists.

Artists are the creators of modern art and culture as well as the forerunners and conscience of the present society. Beijing, China抯 capital, is a bizarre mixture of historical and various styles of modern buildings, that constitutes a post-modern metropolitan city. It is the arena of a power struggle; the setting of hidden political exchanges behind the scenes and also the manufacturer and tester of the frontier of cutting-edge contemporary Chinese art.

The Beijing Da Art Space (BDAS) has its own clear avocation and set objectives.  Beijing is a very diverse capital city, and also the center of China's politics, economy, and culture.  Such a unique environment has inspired boundless creativity and imagination in artists.

The Beijing Da Art Space (BDAS) is rooted in China. It provides services for artists from both home and abroad. BDAS actively participates in promotion of emerging contemporary art practices, including innovative, and experimental visual, performance, new media, installation,  and interdisciplinary art. Also promotes through exhibitions, seminars, publications, workshops and other activities. Our motto is "artists serve other artists?  As a non-profit organization, we plan to establish a photo gallery by collecting modern artworks by artists from the corners of the globe. Which  will actively promote the studies of modern art on a world-wide level. We plan to further introduce the artistic achievements in order to enhance the status of Asian and Chinese artists in the world抯 contemporary art.

The BDAS organization carries the slogan of 揳rtists serve artists? Which earnestly continues to assist artists worldwide.
